as they looked at the
compact, folded units waiting
in the warehouse, they knew
they had achieved something
that would permanently alter

international transport. With
the endurance of the Towers
62 and Towers 63 confirmed
through thousands of cycles,
the family turned their
attention to the critical
challenge of vertical storage
and transport: stackability.
Robert and Virginia
engineered a precision-
locking lug system integrated
directly into the corner
posts of both models,
ensuring that when the units
were in their folded, compact
state, they could be stacked
up to six high with absolute
stability. They conducted a
series of structural load-
bearing tests in the
secondary warehouse, placing
the maximum rated cargo
weight on the base unit and
observing how the
interlocking lugs distributed
the pressure across the
entire stack. The design
performed flawlessly, with
the load-sharing geometry of
the corner posts ensuring
that no single structural
member was overly stressed,
even under the full weight of
a vertical column of
containers. This capability
to stack the folded units in
a footprint no larger than a
single container
significantly enhanced the
value proposition for
shipping terminals and
storage yards, which were
perennially struggling with
limited real estate. By
utilizing their proprietary
lifting apparatus, terminal
operators could pick up a
single folded Towers 62 or
Towers 63, maneuver it over a
