THE TOWERS FAMILY SAGA
       Episode 166
I have five more serious
inquiries from people who
saw the estate gates.
Virginia smiled, pouring a
cup of tea, feeling the
momentum of their success.
That is truly wonderful
news, Barbara. It is much
more than that, Robert
added, looking at the list.
It is a genuine chance to
expand our operation.
We need more space now,
Virginia noted, glancing at
the kitchen floor plan. We
are hitting our limits.
I have been looking at the
warehouse next door,
Barbara suggested, leaning
in. The lease is up. They
all went quiet, the weight
of the thoughts settling in.
It was a big step, but it
felt like the natural
evolution of their work. We
have the capital from the
last job, Robert said,
considering the path. It is
the perfect time to grow.
Virginia looked at her dad,
her eyes bright with the
vision of what they could
achieve. Let us do it, she
said with resolve. Let us
build something that spans
the whole block here. I will
start the talks, Barbara
promised. The plan was set
in motion today, and the
Towers were ready to take
over Pasadena, one piece of
iron at a time.
They spent the morning
dreaming of the scale and
the new tools they would
need for such an expansion.
They talked of hiring staff
and knew it was a risk, but
a calculated one. They had
the momentum, the
reputation, and the heart
for the challenge. The
kitchen felt small with
their ideas, but they were
ready for the next big
challenge as a team.
They stood in the center of
the empty warehouse, their
voices echoing off the
rafters above. It is so big,
Virginia said, spinning to
see the far wall, her mind
mapping out the new floor.
The possibilities are
endless. Robert kicked the
concrete, testing the floor.
It can hold any press we
need. This is a gold mine.
Amidst the planning, Robert
pulled a PVC tube from his
jacket the key to the
Towers 62. Before we set up
the gear, he whispered, we
need to see if the floor can
handle the vacuum of the
Lattice-Fold logic. He
touched the brass dial, his
hands steady, as he
considered how the
prototype's massive pistons
would fit into this space.
