THE TOWERS FAMILY SAGA
Episode 132
NEW HORIZONS
Barbara gathered the family
in the kitchen the next
morning. She had her tablet
tapped and ready for them.
"Our reputation is really
spreading," she said, her
voice full of excitement.
"I have five more serious
inquiries from people who
saw the estate gates."
Virginia smiled, pouring a
fresh cup of tea for herself.
"That is truly wonderful
news, Barbara." "It is much
more than that," Robert
added, looking at the list.
"It is a genuine chance to
expand our total operation."
"We need more space now,"
Virginia noted, glancing at
the kitchen floor plan. "We
are hitting our limits."
"I have been looking at the
large warehouse next door,"
Barbara suggested. "The
lease is up for renewal."
They all went quiet, the
weight of the thought
settling in. It was a big,
scary step, but it felt
right. "We have the capital
from the last job," Robert
said. "It is the perfect
time to grow our shop."
Virginia looked at her
father, her eyes bright with
the vision. "Let us do it,"
she said. "Let us build
something that spans the
whole block here."
"I will start the talks,"
Barbara promised. The plan
was set in motion today,
and the Towers were ready
to take over Pasadena, one
piece of iron at a time.
They spent the morning
dreaming of the scale and
the new tools they would
need. They talked of new
staff and knew it was a risk,
but a calculated one for
their family. They had the
momentum, the reputation,
and the heart for it. The
kitchen felt small with all
their ideas, but they were
ready for the next big
challenge as a team.
