The shop held a gala to
celebrate their growth.
The doors were wide, and
the lights were golden.
"It is a grand night,"
Virginia said, greeting
the people at the door.
"It is a Towers night,"
Shirley added, moving
through the happy crowd.
The shop looked radiant
with flowers and music.
"We invited everyone,"
Dorothy noted, checking
the guest list one more
time for the arrivals."
The town came out to
support the family who
had proven their worth.
"We are impressed," the
guests said, looking at
the quality of the work.
"We are proud of you,"
others told the women.
Virginia felt the joy of
the moment in her heart.
"We earned this," she
said to Minnie, who was
radiant in her dress.
"We earned the respect,"
Minnie replied, watching
the shop fill with life.
The atmosphere was full
of laughter, stories, and
the warmth of community.
"This is the reward,"
Barb noted, seeing the
happy faces of the team.
"This is the payoff,"
Shirley said, laughing.
They moved with purpose,
handling the event with
the same grace they used
to handle the business.
"We are at the top,"
Virginia said, surveying
the room with a wide,
genuine smile of relief.
"We are at the height,"
she added for them all.
"We are the Towers now,"
they said in one voice.
