THE TOWERS FAMILY SAGA
Episode 128
A local paper asked for
a story on their shop.
Virginia sat down to
write the history of
their struggle and rise.
"It is a hard tale,"
she said to the group,
"but it is a true one."
"It is a strong tale,"
Minnie said, nodding.
Virginia put the pen
to the page and felt
the history flowing out.
"We tell of the fight,
the loss, the gain, the
pain, and the survival."
"We tell of the bond,
the trust, the work, the
hope, and the victory."
"We tell of the Towers,"
she wrote with focus.
Shirley helped with the
facts of the business.
"We have the data," she
said, handing over the
detailed account books.
"We have the proof,"
Dorothy added, showing
the photos of their hard
work and the new shop."
The story came together
as a testament to their
grit and their success.
"It will inspire many,"
Barb said, reading the
draft with a soft smile.
"It will show the town
who we are," Virginia
said, looking at the
pages with satisfaction.
They felt proud of the
truth they had captured.
"The truth sets us free,"
Minnie said with calm.
"The truth makes us real,"
Virginia added to her.
They sent the story out
to the editor with pride.
"Our legacy is written,"
they said, sharing a cup
of tea in the evening.
"Our future is safe,"
they added, feeling firm.
