THE TOWERS FAMILY SAGA
Episode 128
THE DESIGN
That night, the family
huddled over the plans on
the kitchen table. The
drawings were spread out
under the warm lamp.
"This is very intricate,"
Virginia said, tracing the
lines with her finger.
"It will take a lot of
patience to get this right."
"But it is worth the
effort," Robert said, his
eyes tracking the ornate
scrolls. "The prestige of
this specific job is huge
for us." Barbara added the
cost of the materials into
her spreadsheet, nodding.
"It will be a profitable
venture if we manage the
time well," she said.
"I will start the iron
prep at dawn," Virginia
said, feeling a surge of
excitement. "I have a very
clear vision for the main
gates." Robert nodded
slowly. "I will work the
main frame to ensure it is
perfectly square." They
planned the process step by
step. They broke down the
complex assembly into
manageable tasks. There was
no sense of panic, only a
quiet, steady focus on the
end goal. They were
functioning as a single
unit. For the Towers, the
pride was not just in the
final check, but in the
process of creation. They
talked late into the night,
drinking tea and refining
every tiny measurement on
the page. It was a bonding
experience that went deeper
than just work. They were
building a life together.
"We will be proud of this
when it is finished,"
Minnie said, smiling.
Virginia looked at the
plans and felt a deep
sense of peace. The
struggles of the past felt
very far away now. They
had the talent, the space,
and the tools. They just
needed to put in the time.
"Let us make it a piece of
art," Robert said. And that
was the final word on it.
They went to bed knowing
that tomorrow would start
a new chapter for them.
