       Episode 101
The sun hit the shop.
Arjay stood by the gate,
feeling a chill in air.
A man walked to fence,
with a stack of paper.
"You own this?" he asked.
Arjay looked at him.
"My family owns this."
The man shook his head.
"The map says no."
"The lines are wrong."
Arjay felt his pulse.
"We have been here long."
"Time does not fix law."
He handed over papers.
Arjay held them tight.
His hands shook some.
He saw an official seal.
"This is not right."
"Take it to town hall."
The man walked off fast.
Arjay stared at the lot.
The shop looked fragile.
He went to the desk.
Virginia was checking.
"What is that?" she asked.
"A claim on our land."
She took the file then.
Her eyes read the print.
"They say survey is wrong."
